From our studies of the life and death of stars, we have learned that stars have been responsible for transforming the lighter gases of the Universe into the denser solids and liquids that make up planetary bodies such as our Earth. Our personal star that we call the Sun is so much a natural part of our lives that it we take it for granted what it does and that it will be present in the sky tomorrow, but just how big a part does it play in shaping our lives? In fact the Sun powers life on Earth, so no Sun – no life, as we know it.

The Earth may have provided the materials we are made from, but we are a product of the Sun's energy; it has so shaped our natural environment and it has shaped us as humans, and to do that, it has to influence the manner in which we think. When we have described how this sunshine engine drives the natural environment to our satisfaction, then surely in turn we will also possess a satisfactory description of the human condition that we call living. 

We as humans; have been for a long, long time studying the effects of the Sun's energy on our natural living environment; but the Earth has a companion in its journeying around the Sun, the Moon. The Moon has a relationship with the Earth that has modified how sunlight has conceived our environment. This journeying of the Earth and Moon around the Sun affects each and every one of us all whether we realise this or not. The fact that we feel alive in the presence of Sunshine shows that it has the power to affect our consciousness. We just do not have the same feeling in the presence of either artificial or natural light alone. There is a very ancient belief that we can reach an understanding of our human condition, how we are formed from sunshine and how we function by it, and we can do this without the need for anything other than just by observing the effects of the Sun.

Although the very origins of the ancient system that classifies widely varying natural processes and evolutionary events together has been lost in the mists of time, I have unlocked this mystery with a simple rational explanation.

This very ancient belief makes for an understanding of how we are put together and the realisation that we require to develop a relationship to our personal selves. It is in the formation of this relationship that is described by the equally ancient Great Symbol that we can find an understanding of ourselves. The Great Symbol is an ancient technology that describes balancing relationships, but what is of far greater importance is that it also shows how we can re-balance our relationships and therefore our world.

In this book then there is an understanding that encompasses three things, one a belief about our world, two a philosophy to understand our world better with; and thirdly a system that provides for preventative healthcare. And it all comes from those things that you can observe for yourself everyday. Every one of us needs to find a view of life that works for them, it is incumbent on each of us to do this, however hindering it maybe. Using a hand me down view on life will never be satisfactory. This book then is also a template that all other religions and philosophies can be compared and contrasted with, and this will most definitely help you find what you should be looking for.
